Every woman is beautifully unique, each pregnancy is different and no birth is the same. So how can you prepare for your labour and the birth of your baby?
This workshop is a fun friendly and highly informative class where we will playfully and mindfully explore options to meet labour and birth in an empowered and individual way. The workshop provides for both the needs of the mother and a role for the (birth) partner.
You will be guided as an individual and as a couple through each of the stages of labour and birth and what possibilities there are to meet them with breath, sound, resting positions and movement, visualisations and affirmations, relaxation and meditation – and why and when these can be useful.
We make time for relaxation allowing for you to let go of any apprehensions as well sharing the class and your experiences with other new parents to be over tea and cake.
It is also a gorgeously nurturing practice that allows you to stop, and take time for you and your baby… giving you the space to connect with this incredible little person that grows within you.
Refreshments will be provided through out.
Lisa White your teacher has been teaching pregnancy yoga for 20 years, teaches the Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training and Integration of Pregnancy Students to a Yoga Class for Yoga Campus.
Experience: It is beneficial if the pregnant student has had some pregnancy yoga experience, but not essential. Ideal for couples but students coming on their own are more than welcome. This session is suitable from 32 weeks or can be taken earlier if this suits your schedule better.
