Explore your body, your range of movement & discover ways to lengthen and release into your practice deeply but gently.

Yin Yoga is a traditional style of Yoga where postures are held for longer to work with and nourish the connective tissue / fascia. This, over time increases agility, flexibility and mobility in the joints, while working safely within their natural range of motion, using support where necessary so as not to push beyond the bodies appropriate edge.  There is a real sense of being able to exhale through your whole being.

This held practice can help to improve flexibility to support your regular Yoga practice, and bathing in the stillness brings a tranquillity to the mind, creating a truly cathartic experience.

Especially useful in helping up to surrender and let go of those inner held tensions, physically and emotionally.

You will need: warmth, as this is a fairly still practice, something comfortable to be lying on, a blanket, cushion or pillow or both.
